both Angelina and Ghandi encourage eating disorders. coincidence? If we can’t appreciate Hollywood douchebags for being beautiful then what good are they? Well, perhaps they should be worshiped not only for their physical superiority but their moral superiority as well. That’s exactly what People Magazine is attempting to convince us of by giving reasons other than aesthetics for their shallow “100 Most Beautiful People” issue. It’s not much of a surprise that Angelina Jolie tops the list for being hot, but apparently that’s not why People chose her. “She’s got that pregnant glow, but it is Angelina Jolie’s humanitarian efforts that make her most radiant”. Sure, I’ll buy that. She tops the list because of her good heart. It’s no different than when Mother Theresa and Nelson Mandela topped the list for their “beautiful” humanitarian efforts as well. Wait, that never happened. Oh, another thing that confused me is Kirstie Alley making the list. Yes, out of the 6.5 billion people in the world Kirstie Alley is in the top 100! If that’s not a sympathy vote for the slow kid I don’t know what is.
