Day Without an Immigrant

photo taken yesterdayYesterday was a day I’ll always remember. Never have I had hope for this country. May 1st changed that. It’s a great feeling to be united with millions of people working towards the same goal. Shutting down a major city like LA and walking down its streets was a revolutionary experience. To be able to do so with complete strangers who had nothing but peace in their hearts made it a spiritual one as well. No longer did we exist as individuals, but as God intended. Yesterday true democracy was enacted as people took to the streets and demanded that their government listen.
