smile dammitFollowing the conviction of Zacarias Moussaoui, a self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda operative, I’m left pondering one question. Where exactly was this fifth plane headed? Moussaoui pleaded guilty to six counts of conspiracy to crash a fifth plane into the White House on September 11th. However, some of you may remember that in early February Bush revealed Al-Qaeda’s plans to use a fifth plane in bringing down the Library Tower in Los Angeles. One (or both) of these stories has to be a fabrication. Is it too much to ask that our government at least be consistent with their lies?fifth target? Once again we’re shown that having the facts isn’t as important as having a scapegoat. In a post 9/11 world we’re allowed to choose which reality best suits our needs for the proper justification of our agenda.

Pick which scenerio you’d rather believe:

  1. The War Nerdhas an interesting article about Moosowi trial on his blog. He says it better than I can:

“The low point came when some fool in a suit asked him, “Why do you hate America?” Now why would you ask a card-carrying Islamist crazy man that question in open court? What was the point, purposely giving him the ultimate pulpit on world TV? Well, that’s what happened anyway. Moussaoui started by sighingsighing!and saying, “Well, my answer will be long.”

Of COURSE it’s gonna be long! He’s been waiting his whole life to give this speech! What idiot of a prosecutor would give him the chance? People like him spend their worthless stinking lives dreaming of a moment like that, standing up there and givin’ it to the Man live on Al Jazeera. And we let him do it, the whole court sitting through an hour while he ticked off all the usual grudges, from Jerusalem to Kabul.”

  2. […] Krars story was not picked up by the mainstream American media, nor was it ever mentioned by Attorney General John Ashcroft or the director of the FBI. In a post-9/11 era, it does seem odd that a genuine WMD uncovered on American soil did not make the news. However, the mainstream media was always quick to report any possible Muslim terror activity. In fact, the same day Krars WMD was found, the New York Times jumped the gun to report that a team in Iraq had finally found chemical weapons. This cache later turned out to be two dozen barrels of pesticides. The story was still used by Republican Senator Rick Santorum to justify support for the war even after it was discredited by the Defense Department. Additionally, the White House has held numerous press conferences to announce the possibility of any Muslim terrorist attack, such as the plot against the Library Tower in LA, without offering any evidence to support their claims. Likewise, hundreds of Muslim and Arab detainees are held without trial and tortured on the basis of suspicion. Still, at home and abroad, Islamist ties to terrorism are better marketed in todays political climate than the larger threats posed by white fascists. And though you will never hear this from your television, both Krar and Konopka, two white US citizens, are accountable for possessing a great deal more chemical weapons than have ever been found in Iraq since the US-led invasion.
