West Virginia has More People than Teeth

Okay, maybe not, but they’re pretty damn close. 42.8% of all West Virginians 65 and over have had all of their natural teeth extracted. Check the source to see where your state falls on the graph. Thanks to vanity, my own state of California is fairly low in the rankings.

  1. Now that’s an odd statistic. Does it have connotations for the rest of the healthcare in those states as well, or do those people just not like going to the dentist?
