The Israeli Justice Minister, Haim Ramon, reasoned that because the largest world powers did not ask for a ceasefire during their talks in Rome, Israel has been given the green light to increase their attacks. Recently, more reserves have been called in by the security cabinet. Following the deaths of 4 UN observers in southern Lebanon, 12 UN peacekeepers were withdrawn by Australia who described the prospect of sending anymore forces to Lebanon as a “suicide mission”. So far, 423 Lebanese civilians have been killed in Israel’s offensive.

Ramon also said that in order to prevent casualties among Israeli soldiers, southern Lebanon will be flattened. He claims that Israel has given all Lebanese civilians adequate time to flee, and anyone remaining in the area will be considered a Hezbollah supporter. “All those now in south Lebanon are terrorists who are related in some way to Hezbollah,” Ramon said. This is obviously complete speculation on Ramon’s part which rings as false information to anyone outside the Israeli government’s bubble of propaganda.

There’s another group of people I can think of who also had the expressed intent of completely wiping out entire civilian populations. Hmmm, what other genocidal military fascists could I possibly be thinking of? Here’s a hint: it’s not the environmentalists (regardless of what Jim Inhofe says).
