This is an interview with Nasrallah aired on Al-Jazeera TV in Qatar, July 21st. Regardless of what we might already believe Hizbullah to be, it’s important to draw our own conclusions based on first hand knowledge. Hopefully, this video will provide balance between what Nasrallah says Hizbullah is, and what the Israeli and American media say Hizbullah is. Analyze both sides and make up your own mind. By the way, if you’re not a speed-reader you may have to pause the video several times to follow the subtitles.
update: The video link above was taken off YouTube for some unknown reason (conspiracy theorists unite). However, I was able to find this video which seems to be part of the same interview, but shorter in length.

This man is far from the “terrorist psychopath” most people make him out to be. I wish Hizbullah didn’t exist, or rather, the need for an armed resistance to exist. And I don’t claim to know everything about his politics or his ideology. But from what I’ve read and heard and seen, I can honestly say this man is a patriot. I only wish and pray that, as I said before, the Need for an armed resistance comes to an end, and when settlement finally comes, it will be fair and just. And until Israel and the US get on board with this issue, any moral or ideological high ground either power claims to have should be seen as blatent and utter bullshit.
