Olbermann goes a step beyond the normally light-hearted nature of his show and takes on the role of an insightful commentator. In a time when all other sources have failed us, he stands in defiant opposition to the witch hunt of the current administration. Speaking about the Secretary of Defense, Olberman asks, “With what country has he confused the United States of America?” I have a feeling we’re on the verge of finding out. It’s times like these when reasonable and decent people like Olbermann are needed most.

Well, it’s about time someone in the press, that is, the “real” press, (as opposed to the Daily Show,) decided to call Bullshit so explicitly on this administration’s ideology of those “out of the mainstream.” Thank you, Keith, but watch your back. Neo-Cons don’t like this kind of criticism, and those guilty of it have historically been known to disappear, have tragic car accidents, or murdered by whatever convenient impoverished disenfranchised minority is available for a carjacking.
