In Pereira, one of Columbia’s most violent cities, wives and girlfriends of gang members have called for a sex ban in an effort to stop the violence. The city reported 480 murders last year. The ban is being called the “strike of crossed legs”, and backed by the mayor. “We met with the wives and girlfriends of gang members and they were worried some were not handing over their guns and that is where they came up with the idea of a vigil or a sex strike,” the mayor’s spokesman told Reuters news agency. Studies found that the majority of gang members were drawn into a life of crime for status, power, and the desire to be sexually attractive to women.

This vigil is reminiscent of the Greek comedy, Lysistrata, in which women withhold sex from their husbands to end the Peloponnesian War. Although you need not be a historian to know that withholding sex is the oldest and most effective technique in the female arsenal. However, this vigil does not reduce the threat Pereira faces from the gay gang bangers (sorry for the double entendre).

  1. HA!

I’ve been fuckin’ saying this for years!!!!

    Ladies!!!

You control the world!!! You really do! This is why men oppress the shit out of you and have done so for centuries. Because, deep down, they know that once you turn it off, the world is YOURS.

I say this trend continues across the world.

    Take it back Ladies!!!

    You know I LOVE YA!!!

P.S. regarding “Gay Gang Bangers” There’s a great line in JFK that goes something like: “You’re a liberal Mr. Garrison, you’ll never understand this power struggle becasue you’ve never been fucked in the ass! This is about order! Who Rules!”

  2. two quotes you might like from Camille Paglia. alot of feminists dont like her, but from a male perspective she’s right on the money.

“What I see is not a world of male oppression and female victimization, but an international conspiracy by women to keep from men the knowledge of men’s own frailty. A strange maternal protectiveness is at work.”

“It is woman’s destiny to rule men. Not to serve them, flatter them, or hang on them for guidance. Nor to insult them, demean them, or stereotype them as oppressors. …It is not male hatred of women but male fear of women that is the great universal.”
