Democratic Congressman from Ohio, Tim Ryan, speaks the truth about the Iraq War. He shows how much we’re spending on destructive military efforts when we should be using the money for positive social purposes.
“You wanna start talking about providing healthcare for millions of citizens? You wanna talk about lower tuition costs? You wanna talk about investing in alternative energy sources to reduce our dependence on foreign oil? You wanna talk about what Mr. Michael wants to do with airline security and port security? We got the money. We got the money, but we’re spending it in a black hole called Iraq.”
The War in Iraq Currently Costs:
$8.4 billion per month
$1.9 billion per week
$275 million per day
$11.5 million per hour

Bankrupt us and then bring WWIII and then provide a Global Blanket of security both financially and militarily. It’s pronounced: New World Order.

To pass that price tag under the nose of voters, Bush has associated terrorism with immigration, saying that the fence will “secure our borders” and protect Americans. Texas Senator John Cornyn said, “The choice we were presented was: Are we going to vote to enhance border security, or against it?” […]
