Colbert Report: “Better Know a District” New York’s 19th

This is an interview with John Hall, a New York Congressional candidate, from a segment of the Colbert Report called “Better Know a District”. I love these pre-taped interviews because Colbert really makes good use with the creative editing and eccentric angle he was known for on The Daily Show. And just when you think things couldn’t get any better, Stephen breaks out the “smear cards”.

update: Due to YouTube being craptastic, I’ve had to link to it from C&L. Please inform me if you have any troubles with it this time.

  1. What’s up . there is not link to watch the video.
Please get some more focus on your links. :-)

  2. Ok Thanks for Fixing it.

Love Colbert. Also Colbert means jacket in Dutch.

    Thanks Jacket.

  3. I haven’t had any trouble with this particular link, but if it goes down again please let me know. A lot of the videos here are linked to YouTube, but it has sucked since Google bought it out. Hence, some videos may have been removed, so please continue to inform me if you come across a similar problem.

  4. Yep … “removed [from YouTube] due to copyright infringement” … who can blame the kids for pocketing their billions but it’s a shame for the world (especially the parts that don’t get the Colbert Report on TV or Cable!!!).

  5. The video should be fixed now. That’s the last time I upload anything to YouTube. Yet another case of capitalism making the world a less enjoyable place. Comedy Central gets referred viewers from YouTube and tons of dough from advertisers already. Why they would feel the need to delete all their videos is beyond me. With the amount of traffic they gave YouTube with the Colbert Report and Daily Show, I’m sure they could’ve worked out a deal for some of that scratch.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a site I can post to that won’t delete my vids outright, I’d be glad to hear from you.
