Former Democratic Senator John Edwards appeared on The Daily Show the other night to plug his new book, Home: The Blueprints of our Lives. The proceeds of the book go towards International Rescue Commission and Habitat for Humanity to aid the humanitarian crisis in Uganda. He then talks about the projects he’s currently involved in outside the corruption of Washington. When Stewart poses the question of whether he will announce his candidacy for president again, Edwards tells the audience that there may be an exciting announcement on his website in the next few weeks.
