Big news today, Nancy Pelosi is officially Speaker of the House. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. You might be surprised at the amount of controversy that surrounded the election of Steny Hoyer as Majority Leader, over Pelosi-backed nominee John Murtha. Martini Republic thinks this sullies Pelosi’s rep, while Huffington Post says she won no matter what happened.
