In the most recent segment of the Colbert Report’s “Word”, Stephen sympathizes with the true victims of the midterm elections - the lobbyists. For the sake of corporate interest, he goes down the list of top Democrats who may be just as easy to manipulate as their Republican counterparts. Now that the Dems are in power they’ll be getting a lot more attention from lobbyists. Can we really expect reform from a party that’s slightly less corrupt?
