The day before midterm elections and two days before his resignation, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld submitted a classified memo to the White House which admitted that the situation in Iraq is not all sunshine and lollipops. While not exactly a revelation to those living in reality, the memo was a great departure for the White House. While it seems Rumsfeld conceded a certain amount of defeat, Bush seems entirely committed to the policy of blissful ignorance. Stewart and Oliver try to make sense of his ambiguous strategy to achieve an ambiguous goal. Hilarity ensues.
