As we all know, President Bush has been very busy weighing our options in Iraq and listening to a reservoir of information on the matter. While initially promising that a new strategy would be delivered soon, Bush has since decided to wait until after the holidays to announce our new course, due to the burden of such a decision. In fact, he’s been so busy with this Iraq thing that he’s hardly had time for various photo opportunities. With all this weight on the White House, I sure am glad Barney’s Holiday Extravaganza didn’t have to be delayed too.

The Daily Show gives their own special version of Barney’s Holiday Extravaganza. Stewart notes that these White House videos have become a metaphor for the extraordinary disconnect between the president and the American public. Even Barney himself is depressingly aware that his masters are delusional morons.
