  • In the latest game of tag, the United States, Great Britain, and Israel have been named the “axis of evil” by the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. Will Bush counter by labeling Iran as part of a “SUPER axis of evil”, or go with the classic, “I know you are but what am I?” The world awaits.
  • Guns don’t kill people… Wait, yes they do. Apparently, the states with the most guns had homicide rates 114 percent higher than those states with the least. If TV has taught me anything, I place the blame squarely on marijuana for making teenagers disregard gun safety as they play with their friends in the family armory.
  • Think Progress brings us a video of Bush marking his territory around the White House, because I know you all can’t get enough. In this interview, Bush says he’ll be escalating his failure of a war no matter what Congress does. Since America knows for sure now that Bush isn’t listening to anyone, will the Democrats finally listen as well and impeach the bastard? Congress has the power to stop this. The Democrats have no excuses anymore.
  • Another one of those world leaders I love to hate. Israeli PM Olmert may be charged with bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. Israeli leadership accused of being corrupt? Surely not! This is the same douche who practically said, “You’re doing a heckuva job Bushy” for our praiseworthy war in Iraq.
  • Project Censored brings us the Top 25 Censored Stories of 2006. Last year we saw things that should’ve remained censored, like Britney’s cooter, but were never exposed to the economic reasons for an upcoming invasion of Iran, or the possibly devastating side-effects of nanotechnology.
  • Evan from AlterNet provides us with some great MLK videos, including a classic Colbert moment to end our journey on a light note. Martin Luther King Jr. is one of the greatest orators to ever be captured on video. King’s charisma is only matched by the clarity of his writings. I recommend “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” for your reflection and inspiration today.

  1. What do you think about a massive nationwide impeachment march on Washington?
