Our good friend Barry Lando got to sit down with Stephen Colbert last night and discuss his book, WEB OF DECEIT: The History of Western Complicity in Iraq, from Churchill to Kennedy to George W. Bush. The book goes into great detail on the role American presidents have played in destabilizing Iraq, and the consistent failure which has resulted in trying to rebuild the country to our liking. Lando proves that there is plenty of blame to go around, and the Democrats are not exempt. He makes the case that America is trying to achieve the same imperialistic goals as the British Empire.
