Scrubs Part 1:

If you can ever figure out when it’s on, Scrubs is a great show. This episode centers on a US soldier who had an encounter with an IED in Baghdad. His presence eventually leads to a great schism in the hospital between those who are pro-war and those who are anti-war. I wish they would’ve ridiculed the warmongers a bit more, but the overall point of the episode was to show how much leadership matters, especially in times of widespread societal trauma and division. Dr. Bob Kelso plays a Bush-like figure who uses his elevated chief of medicine status to do as little as possible. Eventually, the staff is united by their common hatred towards him.
