Colbert decided to take aim at us tree humping enviro-mentalists after the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released a report confirming that humans are indeed responsible for global warming. Stephen proposes we attack global warming the same way Exxon Mobil and the Bush Administration have attacked it, with a PR campaign.
The Daily Show covered the same issue, pointing out that while the White House says they “agree” with the report and are “embracing it”, they are refusing to actually help by putting caps on carbon emissions.

Colbert uses sarcasm? I never knew that. It’s a good thing he has a monopoly on it because the world would be mighty confusing for “dumbasses” like me if anyone else started to utilize that tool.
