Part 1
The Daily Show covers the latest news about Ted Haggard and his miraculous conversion to heterosexuality. Stewart then moves onto the utter idiocy of the debate over non-binding resolutions which wouldn’t achieve anything even if they were passed. He points out, “The Senate didn’t have the debate over the surge. Instead they had a debate over whether or not that debate should be brought to the floor to be debated!”
In the second clip, Stewart then analyzes the Democratic presidential candidates and their odd race to the Whitehouse via the poorhouse. Hilarity ensues.
