When I grow up I want to be just like Jack Cafferty. Yes, I want to be a passionate old man who makes fun of Wolf Blitzer on national television. This past week has seen some fairly newsworthy events. In fact, the second most important story in The Situation Room had to do with Iran and missiles. With that in mind, why the hell have the 24-hour news stations been circling Anna Nicole�s death like she was Princess Di? Of course, occurring around the same time as Mother Theresa’s death, I think the Princess Di tragedy was over-reported too, but that’s another topic entirely.

In this clip, Cafferty gives Blitzer and CNN a jab over their coverage of the dead gold digger and the gold digger who preyed on her. The Anna Nicole story means absolutely nothing, especially when juxtaposed on CNN against the hundred or more faceless Iraqis that die everyday without a fraction of the same time spent to their memory. Sorry, I promised myself I wouldn�t go on a rant about celebrity worship or the even what it means when such a narcissistic waste of space is idolized when the world is falling apart, and here I am. I leave the ranting up to you. Call me an insensitive jerk if you must.
