Che Guevara once said that “a true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love.” It seems this lesson has not been lost on President Chavez of Venezuela who delivered a special message to US Secretary of State Rice during his Valentine’s Day Speech. The Venezuelan president said he’s begun to miss Rice’s verbal abuse, in reference to last week’s testimony in which Rice told a US congressional committee that Chavez was “destroying his own country” by nationalizing sectors of the economy. “It had been days since she had given me any attention. How are you, Condoleezza?” Chavez asked Wednesday. However, Chavez later added, “Death to the empire! We will not be dominated. We have decided to be free!” Sadly, it doesn’t look like the fighting couple will be patching things up anytime soon.
