Today is Fat Tuesday, or Mardi Gras, in New Orleans and marks the beginning of Lent, a time of reflection and preparation for Easter. And while the current administration proudly claims to be of Christian faith, the fact is that they knew the levees in New Orleans would be breached. The federal government sat on that information as US citizens drowned. The video above is from US journalist Greg Palast who explores the truth behind the atrocity.
