- V for… Suspension? Three high school girls were suspended at John Jay High School, in New York for a reading of the Vagina Monologues and saying the word Vagina after being told to leave it out. Vagina huh? Next week, they will read from the musical Hair. Wait…no, that’s not true at all.
- And in a related story…. Narcissism is up 30% since 1982. A study completed by Jean Twenge shows that generation V’ers… I mean, “Millennials” are losing the ability to be empathetic and form healthy relationships. I personally like this phrase: “tot-level self-esteem boosterism, luxury-as-necessity entitlement, and what one calls instant fame-ification.” However, don’t worry: The American Enterprise institute calls Millennials hard working good boys and girls whom are close to their parents.
- In another related story… Al Qaeda’s #2 calls Hamas “Vaginas” and gets suspended. Al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda’s deputy leader, told Hamas thay have “fallen into the swamp of surrender” and have “sold out” by accepting a Saudi brokered deal with Fatah’s government.
- Israel’s ambassador to El Salvador has been recalled. The Haaretz website reports Mr. Refael was found drunk by police in the Israeli embassy… bound, gagged and naked (apart from sado-masochistic sex accessories). He was only identified after removing the rubber ball from his mouth.
- Not sure how to end the connect after these stories, but a wildfire in Anaheim Hills which has burned three square miles (and has gained complete international attention) is now 80% contained. Global Warming seems to have simultaneously fueled and starved the fire through 100 degree temps on Sunday and 50 degree temps Monday morning. Great news for all involved.
