  • Ad: Buddhist monks of Malaysia seeking non-violent ant exterminator. Preferably exterminator should be one with all things, and shine with the radiance of the Buddha… he should also be insured.
  • Il Papa says that those in positions of power through out the world who are of the Catholic Faith must oppose Gay Marriage. In a later “Apostolic Exhortation,” the Pope commanded all leaders to be Christ-like and oppose war in all its forms and use defense resources on helping those in poverty. The first part is true, the second one isn’t.
  • In a whirlwind “shadow” tour of South America and the Caribbean Jugo Chavez, or the Juice as I call him, has basically followed Bush around making fun of him. At one points he states: “Latin Americans are telling you: ‘Gringo, go home!’.” Don’t they know that Bush speaks Spanish? He knows what Gringo means. If Jugo keeps this up he is really going to hurt President Bush’s feelings.
  • The Dems turn tail on a plan to limit the President’s ability to engage in War with Iran by requiring him to gain Congress’ approval prior to engaging Iran. Apparently, the Dems did not have enough support for this action, due to the fact that “Conservative Democrats” where concerned about the possible affect this would have on Israel. I didn’t realized that we elected our Congress to be more concerned about how our policies affect Israel, then how they affect us.
  • Haliburton moves its HQ to Dubai. Apparently, they’ve decided to focus there efforts on the Middle East of all places. I’m sure that this vast and untapped region will become a gold mine of natural resources for the erstwhile corporation. Who knows in a few years they might start turning a profit, and then Mr. and Mrs. Lesar might be able to start a college fund for baby Lesar. What an inspiration.
  • 30 Strangest Deaths in History. Its a fun read. Poor Rasputin, we hardly knew ye.
