People have gathered on Hollywood blvd.

We’re between Vine and Gower, and the crowd has doubled since our arrival. Interspersed amongst the crowd are people from many ethnic backgrounds. There are many small organizations marching together, like Artists Against the War or Iranian’s Against the War. The march has progressed past the L. Ron Hubbard Life Exhibition. Where are you when we need you L. Ron?

It’s odd to juxtapose the idealistic goals of this march with the stars on Hollywood Blvd, or the people watching it through the windows of fancy restaurants. In a broader sense its appropriate because LA is about odd juxtapositions.
