After last night’s encounter with former UN ambassador John Bolton, Stewart takes the liberty to correct some of the untruths flung around during the interview. Also noteworthy is the fact that Bolton contradicted himself by insisting that our government “ought to have people philosophically attuned to (the president’s) thinking”, while on the other hand, organizations such as the UN ought to have representatives who oppose its very existence. Of course, there is no contradiction in that thought process if you believe that the interests of the White House are the only interests in the world which deserve respect and attention. Everything else must be eliminated if they oppose said agenda.
