Zbigniew Brzezinski, a counselor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and author of Second Chance, joins Bill Maher to talk foreign policy. Zbigniew, or Z-Big as the honeys call him, describes the process which was responsible for the fall of the Soviet Union and the many opportunities we’ve squandered since which have led the world to global disaster. While it may not do much about the war, Brzezinski says the recent bill passed by the Democrats is important because it sends a strong message to the Republicans about the country and, more importantly to them, their party. The sheer idiocy and incompetence of the Iraq war plan has caused hundreds of thousands of deaths, but it will also be the nail in their coffin if they continue to stay the course.
