- Scientists have created a 15% human sheep, which is referred to as a Chimera. Now, I’m usually not sheepish (I’m so funny) about these sorts of things, but a chimera? Isn’t that bad? When scientists give things names that refer to ancient monsters, I get worried.
- Delegates to the World Water Assembly have called for water to be recognized as a basic human right. When being informed of the assembly, Queen Elizabeth from out of her window exclaimed “Let them drink coke!”
- Ecologists warn that we’ve got a freshwater crisis on our hands. So long Yangtze. Three Words: New World Water.
- The 100 best April Fools Day Hoaxes as compiled by the Museum of Hoaxes. Number 101: You were actually adopted, and even your adopted parents hate you. Joke’s on you!
- Attorney General Speedy Gonzalez isn’t out of the forest yet. Republican Senators are ready to give him a stiff talking too.
- NYPD, 21st America’s Stasi. Undercover NY cops spied on activists groups throughout the US, prior to the ‘04 Republican National Conference. To be fair, they do think all liberals are terrorists.
- Kiwi Teenage girls uncover Vitamin-C conspiracy in School Science Project. “GlaxoSmithKline will appear in Auckland District Court on Tuesday to face charges alleging 15 breaches of the Fair Trading Act.” according to the New Zealand Herald. Turns out their Vitamin C drink didn’t really have Vitamin C in it. Oops. Give those girls a scholarship!
- Times Online reminds us that even though everything is crap in Iraq, at least a massive US embassy is being constructed on schedule. The largest in the world in fact. Good to know that reconstruction money is being spent well. There will be but one gate key, and the gate will be protected by 60 men. If only we had a holocaust cloak!

Wow. A human-sheep hybrid. The name Chimera has me wondering if this isn’t really an April Fool’s joke a couple of days early. After all, a Chimera is also defined as:
“A fanciful mental illusion or fabrication.”

But then again, these are probably clueless scientists who play D&D all weekend. Want to guess who plays the role of a Chimera, or uses a Chimera as his trusted companion?
