The Daily Show’s “senior black correspondent,” Larry Wilmore, and senior limey correspondent, John Oliver, teamed up to tackle the unspeakable threat of an unspeakable word. New York City Councilman Leroy Comrie wants a voluntary ban on the word “nigger”, or the “N word” as it’s not-so-cryptically referred to (as if it were Beetlejuice). Plenty of awkward hilariousness ensues.

  2. LOL! Good one, Simon. This proposal is just ridiculous. Banning words is so blatantly unconstitutional I can’t even believe a member of Congress is advocating for it. Of course, only in our PC culture, can a black man do something like this and not experience any repercussions.

  3. It sure looked like he was suffering the repercussions to me. He was made a fool of by a TV show which is fairly PC.
