Apparently, the only thing that can save us from our global mess of terror is a “War Czar”. What a wonderful idea: a non-elected monarch to rule our American empire. Both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report covered the breaking story, and rightly suggest that the position was simply created to shield the president from blame. Do we really need a puppet to shield a puppet? Colbert, Stewart, and Oliver all take their shots at the administration’s incompetence before the War Czar makes such criticism a thing of the past. Hilarity ensues.
