The recent Real Time clip about Robertson’s fundamentalist school hijacking our government inspired me to post this.
For years, the Republicans have used Christianity to sell their global mess of terror, parading so called “Christian” leaders who have no true religious authority. Now it seems the Democrats are going over their heads in pointing out the pope’s disapproval of the war. Colbert talks to the Catholics in his audience, telling them that something must be done to ensure that Pope Benedict does not go against George W. Bush in matters of humanitarianism and faith.
