In light of the shooting at Virginia Tech, Stewart attempts to push forward rather than lose focus and let the latest news out of Washington slip away.

How corrupt is the administration you ask? Well even their scandals have scandals. Yes, to keep information about the US Attorney scandal (and possibly other abuses) from getting into the hands of the Democrats, practically 5 million emails were deleted and inexplicably lost. Luckily, Senator Ted Stevens is just a phone call away to clear up some of the misconceptions we have about this internet and its series of tubes.

  1. 5 million e-mails from 2003 to 2005, 30 months.
22 staffers. Lets assume they work 20 days a month for 30 months that is 900 days. 5555 emails a day. 22 staffers, 252 emails A DAY per staffer, working every day for 30 months.
Did they do any White House work, or just Republican work?

  2. Man, if only there was a law in place where we could moniter these emails and collect them into some vast database, like say, at the CIA or something….
I realize it’d be kind of a breach of Constitutional Freedom, but I’m sure if we gave it a Patriotic name, no one would notice.
