download fileSome would say that our government engages in class warfare by recruiting the poor, whose communities have no other economic or social opportunities, to fight corporate wars. Still, others would say it’s ridiculous that poverty even exists in the richest nation on earth.

Luckily, Stephen Colbert understands this great injustice and has backed a positive solution to the dilemma. No, the solution isn’t in sending the children of the ruling one percent to fight the war their parent’s created. It’s in sending those who are even poorer than our lower class - people that are so poor they’re willing to take any opportunity we throw them. I’m talking of course about “illegal immigrants”. Why should our lower class have to die for their country when Mexico’s lower class is willing to die for it instead?
