Michael Moore is currently under investigation by the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control for entering Cuba with 10 rescue workers who served during September 11th rescue operations while filming his forthcoming documentary “Sicko.” Moore is now the subject of a civil investigation for violations of the US trade embargo, which restricts travel-related transactions involving Cuba. Needless to say, Fox News Douche John Gibson is furious.

What enrages Gibson most is not that we still have this ridiculous policy in regards to Cuba, or that the White House made these people sick by instructing the EPA to assure the public that the air in New York was safe to breathe after 9/11. No, what enrages Mr. “We need more white babies” is that Michael Moore would violate a pointless trade embargo in order to save American lives. Actually, it really has nothing at all to do with the embargo being violated, and everything to do with the fact that Moore’s a lefty. Gibson simply wants to see all liberals in jail. As with all venomous criticism coming from the far right, Moore’s crime is not in his action but in his affiliation. The same accusation of treason was thrown at Nancy Pelosi by Republicans for her Syria trip, while a previous GOP-led visit was kindly overlooked. The sheer obviousness of this double standard against people like Pelosi, Sheehan, and Moore is too idiotic to take as serious argument.
