Stewart recaps the oversight hearing in which Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified to the House Judiciary Committee over the firing of US Attorneys. He simply repeats the same answers from his first performance, with which Bush was well pleased. When asked by Maxine Waters to surrender information regarding the case, Gonzales makes the absurd claim that he can’t help the House with their investigation because he’s under investigation. Oh, if only they would drop the investigation he might be able to help them with it.
