No one in the Bush administration has the integrity to take responsibility for their disastrous failures, and the architect of the Iraq War is merely the latest example of that. When these officials are finally forced to resign due to charges of corruption or incompetence, a campaign of revisionism is undertaken to protect them. With this in mind, Colbert suggests us liberals abandon our demands for accountability and truth in the hopes of simply getting Bush out of office.
