After being voted into Congress specifically to end the war, the Democratic Party has finally achieved their goal of created a piece of war-funding legislation nearly identical to legislation proposed earlier by Republicans. Now Harry Reid is lying through his teeth in an attempt to spin the bill as a victory. The new bill would put absolutely no pressure on the president. Unfortunately for Reid and Democratic leadership, past footage of tough anti-war talk has come to bite them on the ass.
