Colbert hat tips Governor Schwarzenegger’s politically incorrect response to a question on how Hispanic students can improve academically. Stephen then praises the anti-evolution presidential candidates by issuing them other proven systems to stop believing in.

Funny as hell!
On a serious note, Schwarzenegger had a point, though there was a much better way to get it across. When I was in Spanish class, we would watch movies and tv shows in spanish. It is a vital learning tool. I think instead of telling people to “turn off” Spanish tv, he should have instead encouraged them to Watch More English speaking tv. Different approach, but the point’s the same. A spoon full of sugar, know what I mean?
I get it, Arnie. You don’t need therapy. You don’t need to meet with Al Sharpton. Just try a little more tact next time.

I don’t know why his comment has gotten any outrage/attention at all. It’s no secret that total immersion is the best way to learn a language, and learning English is a must if you want to succeed in America.
