The recent kidnapping of BBC journalist Alan Johnston has uncovered the hypocrisy of the western news media for failing to cover similar tragedies when they occur to Palestinians. In fact, a Palestinian journalist was shot by the Israeli military just yesterday, yet the story was simply not reported by western news sources.
