Call me a nerd if you must, but I’m very excited about the AFL-CIO debate on MSNBC tonight for five reasons. First, it’s going to be hosted by Keith Olbermann. Second, it will be done in front of the largest audience thus far. Third, everyone in the audience will be a AFL-CIO union member or family of a member. Fourth, Kucinich is the only card-carrying union member among the candidates. And fifth, it gives me an excuse to drink beer and watch TV. That’ll be a nice change of pace from drinking beer in front of my computer.

If you miss it tonight, you know I’ll do my best to have it posted by tomorrow.

  1. A solid interview; one of the best I’ve seen with Kucinich so far. It touches on just about all of his major positions and how he differs from the other candidates. Too bad no one watches MSNBC at 9am. At least he also talks about how little exposure he gets in the media, and how that lack of exposure creates and reinforces his status as a marginal candidate.
