As is the custom before interviewing Dennis Kucinich, the corporate media feels it must present certain selected polls to the audience, seemingly verifying that the person you’re about to hear isn’t taken seriously by anyone else. Therefore, if you take this candidate as anything more than entertainment you will be wasting your energy on a lost cause. While presenting such information, MSNBC conveniently ignores the polls where Kucinich does come out on top. How’s that for journalistic integrity?
Not only does Dennis set Joe straight for dismissing him outright (since he’s actually been making major waves lately) but he also educates him on a certain Neocon Democrat the media seems to love so much. Joe tries to paint Kucinich as a loon with certain implications, but Kucinich is able to back up his accusations towards Senator Clinton’s political leanings with logic and solid facts. Though it may be obvious to any rational-minded American that the other Democratic candidates are actually conservative authoritarians, you can see by Scarborough’s defensive reaction that Kucinich’s words are not the kinds of things you’re allowed to say on television. As Orwell once said, “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Kucinich is indeed leading a revolution.
If I may couple Orwell’s quote with something from Gil Scott Heron, the revolution will not be televised because the television companies have so much to lose under a Kucinich presidency. Instead, the revolution is coming from a truly democratic form of media – the internet. Unlike the other candidates, Kucinich’s campaign is being run by a swelling of people instead of big money.

I love Dennis.

Dennis is more effective when he stays away from the peace-loving hippie stuff, like in this clip.

The polls are bullshit. They only poll registered Democrats, who are just as much guilty of lemming-like group think as the most religious right wing wackjob.
The guy was right, Dennis absolutely lights up the crowds when he speaks. That’s because, like he says, he is the most mainstream when it comes to nearly every issue.
It’s just too bad that, as proven by the elections of 2000, the popular vote really doesn’t count…

Send money to the campaign! I did and it felt great.
I will not have to apologize to the future for doing nothing.
Win, lose or draw the progressives have always fought the good fight.
In fact that is why children no longer work in factories, women have the right to vote, slavery was abolished, a revolution was fought and won, worker’s rights were established and much more.
Progressives fight and win! Look it up…we always fight and we will win.

Joe had a dead intern in his office!
No one talks about that though.
He said…well, what are you gonna do…
Joe is bad!
