Sticks and stones may break your bones (along with the occasional bullet or IED), but its criticism of a man in uniform which Stephen Colbert is most concerned with. Insufficient troop levels are nothing compared to the damage freedom of speech poses to our soldiers as they supposedly fight for our freedoms. Veterans like McCain and Kerry can attest to the fact that the Bush administration has never mocked, disrespected, or denounced any honorable person in uniform. The Democrats are betraying their country with their dissent, but Stephen thinks we can wield this dangerous new weaponry for use against the terrorists.
