Democracy for America (DFA) is a political action committee founded by Howard Dean and presently headed by his brother. At this moment, Kucinich is far ahead of all other declared Democratic candidates in the DFA presidential poll, but is still a few hundred votes behind Gore. As an environmentalist, I personally respect Gore for bringing green issues to the mainstream, but lets face it: He’s done more for us recently as an activist than he ever did as a politician. Eyes on the prize people. Maybe we’ll draft him as Kucinich’s running mate.
Winning this poll will give Dennis the DFA endorsement, shifting much needed funding and publicity to the campaign. Vote and spread the word. Post about this across the blogosphere and forward it to all your friends. The poll closes at midnight on November 5th. We have precious little time. Peace.

Dennis is now leading the polls, beating even Al Gore by 300 votes as of this post. I sincerely hope that this brings the Kucinich campaign much needed attention.

Awesome, glad I can lend a mouse click or three. Who do you suggest to post in the other two slots??? I chose Gravel as one, not sure about the rest. Don’t trust the rest.

That’s great. As of now Dennis is leading by over 1500. As for my second choice I too put Gravel. I honestly can’t remember what my third choice was though. Probably Dodd or Edwards. It didn’t occur to me then, but I probably should have written in Stephen Colbert.

Dennis, Dennis, he’s our man,
if he can’t beat ‘em, no body can!

Politics is a dirty business. That’s why guys like Gore and Kucinich won’t do well as presidential candidates. The mainstream doesn’t respect honesty or clarity of message. They just want soundbites and slick ads. It’s a sad but true comment on our society.
