Now that the impeachment resolution against Vice President Cheney has been sent to committee, we need to contact the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, John Conyers. It’s really simple to do the following:

1. Call the committee at 202-225-3951 (or Conyer’s office at 202-225-5126)
2. Ask the receptionist if you can leave a message for Chairman Conyers
3. Leave a message asking (or demanding) that he launch an impeachment inquiry
4. Hang-up

This is extremely easy to do, and you have no excuse not to do it. Conyers will be making his decision today, so call now.

  1. Thanks for the repost, Manila.

  2. Did that just moments ago.

Didn’t sound like it made any difference. The male receptionist basically let me speak my piece and then hung up. I don’t think he wrote anything down..

I can only hope this happens to him a million times today.

  3. @PapaFigue
I’m betting that the reason he did that is because he’s had a million calls already.

  4. Clearly, the next thing to do is have a picnic.

  5. I called! So what’s the deal now? What is Conyers going to do? Keep the bill stuck in committee??
