In honor of the terrific job Wolf Blitzer and CNN did in moderating the most recent “debate” in Las Vegas, I thought I’d dig out this blast from the past.

In a recent episode of Hardball, Ed Schultz was asked why he thought Wolf would want Hillary to be elected president. One reason could be that she’s the most pro-war candidate who supports Israel’s ongoing occupation, ethnic cleansing, and oppression of the Palestinian people. Of course, “Hardball” is anything but, so you’re not allowed to say those sorts of things. As Clinton stated in the last debate, she favors security over freedom, just as the Zionists and Neocons do. Here’s one disgusting speech in which she declares her unconditional support for the inhumane practices of the Israeli government.

Blitzer himself is a former editor of AIPACs monthly publication, the “Near East Report”. It doesn’t look good when a network which claims to be “the most trusted name in news” hires a propagandist within such a powerful pro-Israeli organization to disseminate “objective journalism” to the American people. Hopefully, the following debate can offer some context to the abomination we saw just a few nights ago. Corporations such as Time Warner are pure tyrannies. It is in their best interest to crush democracy by limiting legitimate debate within our society. They too believe as Hillary does, that the importance of their security trumps the freedoms of the many.

The following forum from 1989 was titled “The Intifada within the American, Israeli, Islamic Triangle”. Professor Norman Finkelstein (one of those heretical “self-hating Jews” like Chomsky and Zinn) consistently destroys Blitzer in a cool and concise way. Also, pay attention to the way Wolf speaks along with the false arguments he puts forth. You can just as easily picture his tired talking points coming out of the mouth of any mainstream American politician.

  1. Love this one. Finkelstein simply annihilates the propaganda. What’s sad is that the debate in this country hasn’t moved much forward since. Almost 20 years later, we hear the same tired arguments from Israeli apologists.

  2. Sometimes I think you do this on purpose Manila…

    You know one of the things I most loathe about HIllary is that whole unconditional support for Israel thing. And Wolf, not only is he duller than dirt but also inclined to evil with this bullshite.

    The overarching Israel/AIPAC mentality will be one of the major reasons why the US will unravel in the world. It is really sad.

    And this from someone who loves Israel, as one might love a partner who has long since been pulled aside by an addiction or an issue. You know you can never work it out with them but you still love them all the same. It makes you crazy.

    I wish I could get my shit together and write about this stuff. If I ever do Manila, it gets dedicated to you.

  3. Great investigative work, this is the smoking gun that a deceived CNN audience needs to see. We should start a campaign to get this blond haired, blue eyed Zionist conman off the air immediately. The America public deserves better. Time Warner’s CEO and future CEO need to be held accountable for this drumbeat to war by this pile of steaming shit Wolf Blitzer, if that’s even his real name.
