DAM is a Palestinian rap group from Lod, a town between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. They’re Palestinians with Israeli citizenship. Although DAM usually raps in Arabic, they made a Hebrew version of this song to get their message out to Jewish Israelis. I was first exposed to them through a mixtape called Free the P which had other talents such as The Philistines, Visionaries, Immortal Technique, Euphrates, and spoken word poet Suheir Hammad. I highly recommend it, and the proceeds go to a good cause.
