“I’m going to be President of the United States,” Will Smith told an Australian paper. “I always wanted to be the first black president, but Barack Obama stole my idea. That’s okay with me. Barack can go first and then I’ll take my turn.”

Smith, who is a supporter of Barack Obama, said that he already has an idea of what he’d address as president himself. “The basis of human sanity is physical survival, right? So I’d start with universal healthcare and shelter. I can’t see that happening under Bush. Too many bad things have happened under his presidency.”

Smith continued his understatements, “I don’t believe he is an evil man, I just think he has an unevolved perspective. It’s a good thing he’s served his time. Now it’s time for Barack Obama.” Smith has also expressed interest in playing Senator Obama in a film about his life.

Although Smith has plenty of money to run a successful campaign, it seems almost certain that rival candidates will use his most recent attempts at music to show that he has poor judgment. A simple replay of “Big Willie Style” in a campaign commercial could cost him the votes of Americans who don’t enjoy horrible music.
