The Kucinich campaign wants to raise $100,000 to end the year on a high note. Don’t worry though, cuz we won’t make you pay the whole thing by yourself. Just give $100, and tell 1,000 friends to do the same.
Yesterday, your Presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich, shared his New Year’s Resolution for our nation: Strength through Peace.
In less than 24 hours, everyday citizens reached into their wallets, purses and pockets to contribute almost $25,000! And we’d like to thank all of you who have been so generous and so kind.
Now, the question is: can we quadruple that by midnight tonight (local time, wherever you live), December 31st 2007, so the campaign can go into the New Year on a high note?
Let’s raise $100,000 today before the clock strikes 12 to keep this campaign strong, to make sure your voices continue to be heard, and to let everyone know that the Kucinich campaign has the most determined and most loyal grassroots supporters of any campaign.
The snow is coming down in buckets here in New Hampshire, but our volunteers are braving the cold to knock on doors to help spread Dennis’s message. And, so many additional volunteers are pouring in from around the country that we need extra housing to accommodate them. That, and the warm reception that we’re all getting, is clear evidence of growing support here in New Hampshire.
But, the clock is still ticking down towards the end of the fiscal quarter, and, if you can, please consider one more contribution before midnight tonight. Then, at that magic moment, we can hit that magic number: $100,000. What a celebration that would be! Not just for the campaign, but for the old-fashioned, cherished notion that our political system belongs to “the people” and not to the corporate interests that are bankrolling the other campaigns.
And, make sure to watch Dennis and Elizabeth tonight, beginning at 9 p.m., at
www.kucinichtv.com as they and their supporters welcome the Near Year in a live broadcast from Manchester, New Hampshire.
