Ron Paul became the second Presidential Candidate to cross the “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” picket line after Mike Huckabee. Paul’s right-libertarian ideology often pits him against unions and workers rights. Last night’s appearance marked the second time Ron Paul has defied Hollywood strikers since the writers strike began. He became the first presidential candidate to cross a picket line when he appeared on “The View” in December.
I hear the interview itself was good and that Paul even bashed Fox News for his exclusion in their debate, then mentioned Kucinich as the candidate he most agrees with (unless you consider that he crossed a picket line to be there). However, out of respect for the writers I will not be posting the video.

I think that these are very calculated and intentional moves. Starting with Huckabee… He knew exactly what he was doing and was making a real statement by doing so. Two words come to mind…. Ed Rollins. That is all I will say about that.
And Ron Paul. I live in the suburbs of Albany NY and the amount of Paul supporters scares the crap out of me. They are on street corners on the weekend, on off-ramps and in parking lots. There are signs on overpasses and on lawns.
I think, as usual, people hear the surface “get rid of government” and then don’t bother to look under the hood. Be afraid.
Back to the point - both of these candidates gave unions the big FU by doing this. Quelle suprise!

Here’s the video for all of you Ron Paul supporters out there…. although, I’m not too sure there are many living in this neighborhood.

Noooo, Dr. Paul is FOR individual liberty. If Ron wants to go on The Tonight Show, why shouldn’t he? The fight is between the two parties, Ron has nothing to do with it. FREEMARKET. Ron has an individual right to go on any show he chooses regadless of outside conflicts. nothing should restrict individual liberty, not unions, not corporations, nothing. That is where Ron stands. “It’s nothing personal”—applicable.
